1. I was adopted at 5 months old from Maoming, China. My mom and Grandma had to travel there to pick me up
2. Iโm 4โ11โ but I lied on my drivers license and it says Iโm 5 feet
3. My black cat is named Tituba after the first woman accused of witchcraft in the Salem witch trials; and I swear weโre the same person
4. I just took a DNA test, turns out Iโm Chinese, Vietnamese, Southeast Asian and Somalian
5. My favorite restaurant is Swiss Chalet (where my OG Buffalonians and fellow Canadians at?)
6. I used to hate when people called me a cancer survivor because I had survivors guilt, but over the years Iโve been getting better at sharing my story
7. Speaking of which, Iโve shaved my hair off TWICE now and Iโm sure it wonโt be the last (Iโve raised over $5K for childhood cancer research in doing so)
8. My favorite place to visit in the United States is New Orleans โ๏ธ and itโs on my bucket list to visit during Mardi Gras
9. Iโm a huge nerd and will always say yes to watching Star Wars, Harry Potter, Studio Ghibli, and Marvel movies
10. I lived in Poland for a summer volunteering my time at an orphanage where I picked up some polish and ate a lot of pierogis and beets
