FIVE POINTS BAKERY – BREAD AND MORE DURING COVID

Five Points Bakery – Bread and MORE during Covid

It’s safe to say that a lot of restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries are adapting to new ways of being open during this pandemic – along with getting creative with the items that they are selling and offering to the public.

Five Points is somewhere I frequented more than often before all of this happened, so I was very happy when I learned they decided to figure out how to stay open and bake their amazing breads and goodies for everyone to purchase. What I didn’t expect – was being able to pick up some groceries there as well!

Such a great idea! The best part about it is that I don’t have to go into the grocery store to get some of these items that I would buy anyway AND I get to pick up my favorite White Cheddar Loaf at the same time. They have a ton of awesome local products that are super high quality – things that they actually use their in their bakery. I’ve purchased flour, yeast, a sourdough starter, cheeses and many other things. Check out all baked good and grocery items you can purchase from Five Points on their website:

They have a really well thought out social distancing system over at their location on Brayton Street:

  • Call them when you get there and they start to gather your order
  • You then pay right outside using their card reader on a table that has wipes for your use afterwards
  • Then you wait an appropriate distance away while they bag up your things
  • They place your bags outside on another table through the window, and you’re able to retrieve everything once they shut it

Easy as that! It’s super safe and totally convenient! I recommend grabbing some grocery items from them and using it as an excuse to buy a cinnamon roll and a coffee as well (that’s what I usually do!)
